I have wanted to eat at Blacks for years, and yesterday it happened! Our favorite sides are the green beans and potato salad. We also had the best brisket we have had to date. The ring sausage was great and comes in regular and jalapeño cheese. The desserts are great, but the peach cobbler was our favorite. I will definitely try the pecan cobbler next time! Bread, onions, and pickles are available at a station across from the drink station. The atmosphere is great and is photo worthy! Try Black's, you will not be disappointed!
Was let down at the overall quality of the barbecue here. It may have been time of day, (5:30pm) but I found brisket, sausage, and ribs to all be a bit dry/over done. Sides were decent, ordered sweet potatoes (very sweet), green beans, slaw, and Mac & Cheese. Cost was around $60. Very cool building with lots of fun decor and old photos. Their bbq sauce was great!
Great and tasty brisket! The best I've tried! Supposedly always super long lines but no issue us. No line at all! Straight to ordering and everything came out delicious! Recommend it!
The food side items I ordered were good and fresh. The meat is so tender I was able to finish the meal and freeze the rest of brisket and pork ribs. The manager resolved my issue with portion sizes I order that didn't match on my bill. Overall I recommend the brisket and pork ribs. I heard beef ribs are good but expect to pay by pound. Pecan cobbler is best.
The food is very good! However, the price-to-flavor ratio doesn't work for me. I had the pork ribs, and I have had much more flavorful, fall-off-the-bone ribs in my own backyard for just a few dollars. I paid for four of us in our party and the bill came to over $200! Service is cafeteria style where you form a line and order sides, deserts, etc., and someone serves you along the way until you get to the meat. This is great; however, the line can get a bit long reducing the pleasure of the experience. For the price you pay, I believe they could afford to create two serving lines. Good food, but watch out for sticker shock! 🤑
